Rattle

I loved creating my own Android application called Rattle. It is designed to keep you safe in the outdoors, whether it is hiking or biking. It detects if you get hurt and stop moving, then sends an SOS message with your location to an assigned contact. I enjoyed the entire creation process and learnt a lot about Android as well as Object Orientated Programming. My goal is to release a version for iOS in the upcoming year.

• Development using Java and XML on Android Studio.

• Implementing Google Maps APIs to retrieve GPS coordinates and display location.

• Experience with Google Play console and Maps console.
